The self review exercise is an important activity in the quality assurance process in UiTM.  It draws upon all reviews in the system, including a review of the QMS.  It enables the PTJ to reflect on its own priorities and activities and thereby assure itself as well as its stakeholders that policies, systems and processes for the development, maintenance and enhancement of quality are functioning effectively.  Areas of strength and excellence as well as areas in need of focused attention for improvement can be identified through the self reviews.  An output of the self review would include recommendations for improvements or enhancements to policies, processes, programmes, services, facilities, and human resources.  Findings of the Self Review are recorded in the Self Review Report (SRR) of the PTJ which provides a foundation for the InQKA External Review.  The review by InQKA validates the self review findings and conclusions and ultimately evaluates the robustness of the PTJ’s quality assurance function.

Participants were welcomed by YBhg. Prof. Emeritus Dato’ Dr. Hassan Said, UiTM Vice Cancelor. The workshop was delivered by Prof. Madya Dr Azizah Abdullah, Prof. Dr. Hajah Roziah Mohd Janor, Encik Mohd Elfee Ab Rashid,Dr. Fadzlina Mohd Fahmi, Puan Zuriati Janin and Encik Mohd Norafizal Abd Aziz.
