InQKA oversees the IQA for UiTM. It is invested with the responsibility for setting directions and quality policies that brings the University into compliance with national standards and expectations, and promotes good practices towards academic excellence. The Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) Unit was formally established in March 2017 whereby the establishment of IQA was in line with the conferment of Self-Accreditation status to UiTM on 2 January 2017. The IQA is responsible for ensuring that the quality of UiTM's academic program becomes more robust, meet the MQF and standards requirements, and enables accreditation.


The IQA Unit is placed under the direct purview of the Penolong Naib Canselor who is the CEO of InQKA. Operationally, the IQA Unit, InQKA undertakes the quality assurance activities with respect to the external review and program accreditation processes.
