Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) is a recognised Higher Education Provider (HEP) by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA), entrusted to serve as a Quality Verification Centre for Stand-Alone Micro-Credentials (SAMC). Through this role, UiTM is responsible for the following functions:

1. Managing the quality assurance process to ensure that all SAMC offerings are aligned with the MQA Guidelines to Good Practices;
2. Conducting quality verification assessments for SAMC at levels ranging from Certificate (T-3) to Doctoral Degree (T-8), offered by selected institutions and training providers, in accordance with the quality standards and learning assessment elements outlined in the Malaysian Qualifications Framework (MQF); and
3. Facilitating the registration of verified SAMC into the official MQA Micro-Credentials Registry.

With this mandate, UiTM reaffirms its commitment as a trusted organisation, dedicated to advancing lifelong learning and building a flexible, future-ready education ecosystem in line with the Ministry of Higher Education’s agenda.
